Label Guide: Jay Jay

Jay Jay Records was founded in 1951 by American polka musician Walter Jagiello, better known as Li'l Wally. It was one of the first truly independent record labels in the United States. The label's motto "be happy and gay with Jay Jay" appeared on most of the record labels, but it has now been changed to "be happy night and day with Jay Jay."
