Enterprise Records was founded in 1967 as a subsidiary to Stax Records, originally intended to become Stax' jazz label. But that plan never quite took off and Enterprise is best-known for releasing Isaac Hayes with an otherwise very diverse roster. Stax closed the Enterprise imprint in 1973.
first Enterprise label (1967 - 1968)

second Enterprise label (1969 - 1972)
This second label was used for ENS-1001 to ENS-1024, and the earliest releases in the ENS-5000 series.
third Enterprise label (1972 - 1974)
The final label for all the remaining releases of Enterprise Records, feat a 'Division of Stax Records' notice at the bottom.
third Enterprise label (1972 - 1974)
A later version reads 'Division of the Stax Organization' with a different Memphis address.
