Cobblestone Records was an American jazz label, founded in 1968 as a subsidiary of Buddah Records. In its early years, Cobblestone was mostly a singles label and only one album was released, 1968's Joe Thomas Group LP. The label went dormant in 1970 and was relaunched two years later by producers Joe Fields and Don Schlitten. This new incarnation of Cobblestone released about 30 albums between 1972 and 1973, then it was closed and Joe Fileds moved on to start Muse Records.
