Round Records was a record label owned by Jerry Garcia and The Grateful Dead's band manager Ron Rakow. The band left Warner Bros. in 1973 and started two new labels: Grateful Dead Records for band recordings and Round Records for solo albums by members of the band. After a few years The Grateful Dead gave up on their own record label business again and signed a new deal with Arista. Round Records was deactivated in 1977.
