Kling Klang Schallplatten (German for "Ding Dong Records") is the record label of German electronic band Kraftwerk, named after the band's recording studio in Düsseldorf, Germany. The studio, and therefore the label, were named for the opening track of Kraftwerk's second album, released by Philips in 1972.
The first Kling Klang album was Kraftwerk's 1975 LP Radio-Aktivität/Radio-Activity, and all future releases by the band, until today, were issued in Germany on their own label. From 1978's "Die Mensch-Maschine" on, all albums were released with custom label designs, only two examples are shown here in this guide.
