Innovative Communication (short: IC) is a German record label, founded in 1979 by electronic music pioneer Klaus Schulze and music journalist Michael Haentjes. Most of IC's output was in the electronic music, New Age Music and Neue Deutsche Welle (German New Wave) genres by artists such as Ideal, Software, Mind Over Matter, DIN A Testbild, P'Cock and Manuel Göttsching.
Schulze eventually sold the label in 1983 to German company DA-Music, and some of the IC back catalogue was re-released under their Racket Records imprint. Innovative Communication still exists today as IC-Digit, originally founded in 1990.
