Hull Records was founded in 1955 by Blanche Casalin in New York, with its headquarters in the famous Brill Building on Broadway. The label was active until 1966, with about sixty single releases but only three albums issued between 1960 and 1963. Their most notable artists were doo wop groups, The Heartbeats, Shep and The Limelites and The Avons, and all those albums are very rare today.
Hull Records was acquired by Roulette Records in 1966, who re-released some of its back catalogue.
