Deltone Records (also Del-Tone Records) was founded in 1958 by Jim Monsour as a platform for the recordings of his son Richard, better known by his stage name Dick Dale. The label released a bunch of singles by Dale, but only one album, 1962's Surfer's Choice. The success of this album led to Dick Dale signing a contract with Capitol Records in early 1963, which made Deltone Records obsolete and the label was discontinued.
